Just saw this on preloved and felt so sorry for her, it must be so worrying as he is so young still

I don't know if there are many on here in Northern Ireland but you never know

Oh no!  Nearly the same age as Missy - I would be hearbroken.  How common is this?  Gavin and I were talking the other day.  Is there a big market for stolen pedigrees??  How vigilant should we be?

Can never be to  vigilant!  I watch mine like a Hawk!  Tragic for this little puppy and whats more for the owner.  I do wonder how it actually was stolen.

This would be my worst nightmare, I even worry about my akitas and dont think they would let anyone take them, but you never know.  My little ones wouldnt stand a chance.  The only way they could be taken is if someone broke into the house. Shocked Shocked

sadly it happens too often, which is why I am totally against dog flaps.  These little dogs are highly re saleable with or without papers and used for breeding.  Absolutely dreadful they must be totally heartbroken.
I know I would be.
I am also still horrified when I see dogs tied up outside supermarkets.....      just read the dog papers and see how this rather too common.
A lady I know had a whole litter taken from her walled garden...........  never ever traced.

I'm hugely paranoid about Finnegan being stolen, I always have been and don't understand how people feel comfortable leaving any dog tied up outside a shop, whatever the breed, it's not even always pedigrees that are stolen. For the same reason I wouldn't leave him in the garden alone as you just never know these days, would be my worst nightmare

I might be over cautious but I won't even leave them in the car when i can park right outside the newsagent and be in for only 2 minutes.

I'm from Northern Ireland too but no where near Armagh, from where this little pup was stolen. It was featured in our local province wide newspaper too.I do hope his family find him again as he's so young, however it is all rather sinister. I have left Teddy in the car while I nip into Asda because he likes to accompany me shopping (so far he has always been safe - I leave sun roof and windows open part way and never leave him in warm sun or in in summer or spring - very aware of this horrible risk to dog's welfare and safety), although I would never leave him tied up outside a shop. I never would imagine any one stealing a dog but I realise now that it can and does happen. Hope the little guy is safe!
